Coronavirus Update April 23, 2020

Gathering This Sunday, April 26th, 2020

  • The Sanctuary will be open this Sunday, April 26th.
  • We will have a gathering beginning at 10:15AM consisting of praying, sharing, singing, and teaching. Following the sermon, we will participate in the Lord’s Supper and have a time of sharing afterwards for those who can stay. A box will be available to receive offerings on your way in or out.
  • We believe it is important for the body to meet in person whenever possible. Hebrews 10:25 reminds us of this need within the body, and Acts 2:42-47 specifically shows us a model of what that was like. We believe we can continue our efforts to partner with our community during this time AND be able to meet in person.
  • In our continuing efforts to partner with our community and the government, we will practice sanitary measures in keeping with the recommendations from the CDC, as well as encouraging 6-feet of social distancing. We will also be re-sanitizing the Sanctuary after every service. Families will be worshiping together.
  • There will be no: Sunday school, Children’s Ministry, Nursery, Coffee room or CCO.
  • Please enter through the Sanctuary doors on the Clairmont Rd. side.
  • One restroom will be available to be sanitized between each use.
  • Beginning at 11AM, some of the singing and the sermon will be broadcast via Facebook live and here on the CBC website.
  • If you are staying home and would like to connect with others at their homes via Zoom for discussion before and or after the sermon, we will send out information regarding that option as soon as possible.
  • It is up to each individual or household to determine what is best for them to do. We are praying for you all as you make these decisions.
